Sebring Comes To Derby - An Invitation
Back By Popular Demand

Following on from the Aston Martin Racing driver announcement last week, and due to the success of last year’s event, I am delighted to extend an invitation for you to join us on 16th March 2013 for a private screening of the Sebring 12 Hours, courtesy of MotorsTV and our friends at D&C Sound & Vision.

With 2013 being the last time we will get the chance to see the race in its current format before the new regulations of the combined series take effect next year, the race promises to be another thriller; and for those of you who cannot make it to Florida, you are more than welcome to join other like-minded sportscar fans to watch the race on the 60”+ screen here at the Stratstone Aston Martin Dealership in Derby.

In partnership with Dailysportscar, Radio Le Mans, Aston Martin Racing and Travel Destinations, we hope to provide some fantastic entertainment to complement the racing with a suitable centrepiece for the showroom display (ref. last year’s VLN Aston Martin Zagato) - the opportunity to win some great prizes and be awarded the prestigious “Paul Truswell Badge” for the person guessing the correct number of laps completed for the winning Prototype and GT cars, along with a sweep for winners in class.

Proceeds from funds raised on the evening will go to our nominated charity – Mission Motorsport – and there will also be a raffle to win a pair of weekend passes for the opening round of the 2013 World Endurance Championship at Silverstone – but you have got to be in it, to win it!

To get involved, simply email me at with how many tickets you would like, full name, address and contact telephone number. Tickets cost £10.00 and payment will need to be taken in advance as your ticket will grant entry to the showroom. Places are limited to 50 guests, so don’t delay.

Your entry ticket price includes secure parking, tea & coffee throughout the event and a hot supper courtesy of Mrs Dunk – Lancashire Hotpot and Chilli most probably, plus a vegetarian option. You are welcome to bring your own “adult beverages” and I can let you have details of local hotels if required – please mention this in your email and I will send the links.

I hope you can join us.
