AMR Vantage For Silverstone

Next weekend’s Blancpain Endurance Series round at Silverstone is set to welcome a full factory entry from Aston Martin Racing as the team prepare for a potential bid to win the Spa 24 Hours overall.

The team will race the Bilstein sponsored V12 Vantage GT3 that led the Nurburgring 24 Hours and will field and all factory driver line-up of Darren Turner, Stefan Mucke and Frederic Makowiecki.

With the race in Germany having been weather interrupted the factory car has sufficient hours ahead of its next programmed rebuild to race at Silverstone.

The race will also see a second additional Vantage on track as the PGF Kinfaun car is set to be added to the Gentleman Trophy entry with British GT regulars John Gaw and Phil Dryburgh also planning to race.

That should make a total of four Vantage GT3s next weekend with the regular entries of Barwell Mortorsport and Beechdean AMR already confirmed.
