Spa 24 Hours - Hour 2

The RJN Nissan has stopped and been pushed behind the barriers.

The #4 Prospeed Porche was the first GT2 stopper after 26 laps, the #71 RPM Ford followed soon afterwards from 9th.

The #78 BMW pitted after 27 laps with #79 pitting on the following lap and the #17 IMSA Performance Porsche pitting on lap 29 too.

Lap 30 and Bruni pits after a very controlled first stint, followed by the current second placed car, the #16 IMSA GT2 and the 4th placed #13 Prospeed car, we believe it was Holzer and not Westbrook from the start in this car by the way.  BMS stops after 30 laps and that's the last of the major runners to make a routine stop after 75 minutes.

And we've lost live TV coverage from the Spa monstrous carbuncle! That should make following the details of this one interesting!

The #79 BMW leads after the pit stops - it seems the Dunlops are being double stinted from the start, a near 10 second lead for the AF Corse Ferrari converted into a 12.5 second deficit with the #79 M3 a further 11 seconds behind the Ferrari cars.

The Waltrip-spun #1 AF Corse makes it back up into 20th place and pits in celebration for its first routine stop (after 30 laps)

The Gravity Mosler rejoins after a lengthy stop.

Team Jota's #59 Aston appears to be the only remaining GT4 car that hasn't either stopped or suffered a long delay - This after less than 90 minutes!

90 minutes down and the leading BMW is stretching its advantage now 15 seconds to the good.

The 6th and 7th placed #23 BMS and #13 Prospeed Porsches are closing in fast on the 5th placed #16 IMSA version.

The #85 Lamborghini makes its third pitstop within 90 minutes - Not a great start to a 24 race for Fabien Giroix's team.

The final pit caller of all is the #91 GTN class Level racing Cup Porsche - 33 laps completed.

The Jota Aston has a spin and rejoins - Careful boys! A lap or several later it is reported stopped at T12 before rejoining - REALLY careful boys!!

The #51 Phoenix Audi is in the pits again, for the third time, and will drop out of the top 30 again as a result. it rejoins 31st 5 laps down on the leading group.

The lead BMW is pulling away 23 seconds ahead after 42 laps. It's safe to assume that Bruni has decamped - There is only one of him after all - But sadly for AF Corse There are three Dirks!  The #2 car pits, a trifle early after 43 laps.

The #59 Jota Aston is in the midst of a long-ish stop - GT4 is not having a race to be proud of.

We're getting into second routine stop territory for the GT3 cars.

It was Toni Vilander aboard the #2 AF Corse car and it seems he's had an off, the team are working on the left rear and the rear wing  - the car rejoins down in 8th position - Its a BMW 1,2 

Excellent we have live TV back - just in time to see the end result of some drama for Christophe Kerkhove in the 16th placed #61 Prospeed GT3 Porsche at Blanchimont, apparently the result of contact with the #86 Lamborghini - the driver decamps runs around the car, climbs back aboard, attempts to restart the car, is reminded that he must refix his belts, tries to restart again, fails and apparently abandons!

Mark Blundell pits after a fine stint in the #68 United Autosports Audi - the car up to 8th as he pits.

The Jota Aston rejoins - GT4 is back on!
