Paul Ricard Entry List
36 For TheHTTT These are the cars (below) expected for the test days on March 2-3 – and what a stunning collection it is. This will be the first public appearance of the Lola Aston Martin, the Epsilon-Euskadi coupe, the Speedy Sebah Lola LMP2 coupe, the Lamborgini in its current guise, the Courage-ORECAs, the Porsche RS Spyders, the Saulnier LMP1 Pescarolo, Larbre’s Saleens, the Laviolette Spyker and Aston Martin Racing’s Vantage GT2 (and on track, the Trading Performance Zytek and Gulf-liveried DBR9). Plus perhaps a new Porsche 997? The Strakka Racing DBR9 is the Nick Leventis / Peter Hardman car, that last raced in November’s Vallelunga Gold Cup. Teams were required to confirm their participation at the Ricard test before they knew whether they had a full-season entry in the Le Mans Series. The Kruse Schiller Lola Mazda won’t be ready for the test days, because it will be having its engine change (from Acura – it’s an ex-Fernandez car) carried out in the UK. What a mouth-watering collection…. NB. Peugeot has already stated that it wouldn't be attending this test. LMP1
