Laguna Race - 2nd Hour

Championship to Lizards 

One hour, 14 minutes in, the top 15 were as follows: 66, 15, 37, 48, 16, 9, 12, 62, 3, 45, 17, 21, 18, 87, 28

Multiple stops had dropped Brabs down the field, promoting the Fernandez Acura to second overall. One stop was an extended one for a disconnected gear position sensor wire.

Between yellows, Pierre Kaffer, while leading in GT2 got caught out by the slower RSR Jaguar, and contact happened. The contact damaged the front cooler - the team pushed the car behind the wall and retired - 1:24 into the race - GT2 Championship to the Lizards. Congrats Lizards - fantastic year.

The race has actually been a very disjointed affair. If it has a rhythm, it's the rhythm of stop and go traffic. Race - yellow - race a bit and then yellow. Repeat…

So far, there have been some outstanding drives - Mowlem in the Corsa - Zytek, Dominick Farnbacher in the PTG Panoz, but it's lost in the shuffle of the yellows.
