Luis Diaz Joins Alex Job Racing
Full Season In GTC Porsche

Alex Job Racing has announced a third (full-season) Porsche for its challenge on the ALMS GTC class; one which will have a very significant driver at the wheel - 2009 P2 champion Luis Diaz.

The Mexican will be sharing the car with compatriot Ricardo Gonzalez, who is making his GT debut after a career spent in single-seater racing. This duo will be joined in the #80 car by GT3 IMSA Challenge driver Patrick Kelly for the Sebring 12 Hours.

"Luis and Ricardo bring a lot of racing experience to the team," said , team owner Alex Job.  "Luis has been to every track on the schedule making him a valuable asset behind the wheel and with our other drivers.  Ricardo has a lot of open-wheel experience and together with Luis we will indoctrinate him into endurance racing.  I am looking forward to seeing how this team develops as the season progresses."

Diaz is the second P2 'refugee' in the AJR line-up, with the already-announced Butch Leitzinger heading up #81. This car will also have a third driver at Sebring to join Leitzinger and Juan Gonzalez - 2009 Grand-Am GT champion Leh Keen. It's fair to say that with drivers of this calibre on display, the GTC class will rapidly build credibility.

Finally, Jan-Dirk Lueders will be joining Bill Sweedler and Romeo Kapudija in the #23 AJR Porsche for Sebring.
