Kobayashi To AF Corse

Kamui Kobayashi was confirmed today as part of the Ferrari factory-backed AF Corse team in the FIA World Endurance Championship.

The former Toyota and Sauber Formula 1 driver will race the #71 Ferrari 458 Italia in the GTE Pro class together with a yet to be announced co-driver. 

Gianmaria Bruni and Giancarolo Fisichella are set to share the #51 AF Corse Ferrari 458.

Kobayashi said:

"It's an honour for me to become part of the Ferrari family. I will work hard and give my all in this new chapter of my career.

"I can't wait to start working with AF Corse and really hope I can aim for the title."
