Thiriet By TDS Racing Confirm 2012 ELMS Programme

There’s some much needed good news for the 2012 European Le Mans Series as TDS Racing, race winners in 2011, confirm their return to the fray in 2012, this time under the team moniker Thiriet By TDS Racing.

Mathias Beche and Pierre Thiriet are named as full season entrants aboard the team’s familiar Oreca Nissan with an entry for the Le Mans 24 Hours completing the season’s plans alongside all 5 ELMS rounds.

The team will be looking to build on strong performances in 2011 which included class wins at both Spa-Francorchamps (ILMC/ LMS) and Estoril in LMS, with revised components homologated to deal with some of the Oreca’s 201 reliability woes the team will be targeting even more success.

Thiriet by TDS Racing are the second LMP2 squad to confirm an ELMS entry for 2012 joining the Greaves Motorsport squad on the grid.
