Qatar Based Team For 2011 Le Mans Series

Qatar based FUA Racing are set to contest a limited season of Le Mans Series races in 2011.

The team will run at the official pre-season test at Le Castellet in a fortnight’s time in an Oreca FLM09.

"FUA Racing has experience in various motor racing championships in the UAE" said Team Manager Paul O'Neal.

"The team has always wanted to race in Europe and especially at Le Mans. FUA Racing wants to do things right and gain experience gradually.  We want to move up gradually to reach the top with the highest category, LMP1"

"We all know that will not happen right away. We will be patient and we hope to compete in Le Mans, which would be a first for a team from Qatar."
