A Championship Comprising 24 Hour Races
For 2008 - Starting At Dubai

Creventic BV, the Dutch organisers of the TOYO TIRES Dubai 24 Hours (January 11-12 2008), are spreading their wings for next season and have planned a whole championship of 24 hour events.

Two other races are already in the calendar, at the Hungaroring (August 23-24) and Valencia (October 11-12) – both tight little circuits – while an event is proposed in Turkey too, on a date yet to be announced, with a fifth event on a “surprise circuit”.

The 90 entrants for January’s event in Dubai will be given priority to enter the remaining races, but local teams in each country will be able to enter their event, even if they only wish to run in one of the five races.

Creventic calls this “the first 24 hour championship of the world”, and the winners of each division will have a chance to win the star prize: a white, 1988 Rolls Royce Silver Spur, which will be presented in the paddock at the TOYO TIRES 24 Hours of Dubai.

A team’s worst result won’t count towards the final championship points, or the star prize. Creventic has expanded its staff to cope with this new challenge.

The calendar currently looks like this:
January 11-12 TOYO TIRES 24 H Dubai 2008
TBA 24 H Turkey
TBA 24 H “Surprise Circuit”
August 23-24 24 H Hungary
October 11-12 24 H Valencia
