Bourdais new fast lap – a 1:45.225, faster than the 08 qualified. His lead is now over 6 seconds. Everybody is a bit spread out right now. Drayson in at 1:36 into the race. Pirro out – Cocker in. The Dyson Mazda joined pit lane. According to timing and scoring the Jag is retired and by regulations the Autocon is a non-starter as it never got back out. Technically for those betting, the Jag is the first retirement, unless the Dyson has further issues that prevent it from getting sufficient laps in. 99 had a spin with Zugel in the car. No harm, although the car is 3 laps down. PC leaders are 95 Hunter-Reay, 55 Bouchut, 36 Wallace. Leitz is on a tear, although the 44 Lizard is a lap back of the rest of the GT2 leaders. No. 3 in. Up near the front, Cocker has closed to within 2 seconds of Mucke. The 3 Corvette has made it back out, but it appears as if it keeps coming back into the pits after the repairs Risi, like Peugeot appear to have established their lead. It’s now 12 seconds or so over Tommy Milner in the 92 BMW. The battle for 3rd overall is even closer. Cocker is now within about half a second and closing.
