GT90s Revival Series Race Two

The second of the pair of exhibition races sadly showed further attrition - perhaps a series too far , or at least too early.

The idea though has captured the attention of the fans and after a series of unfortunate mishaps in the lead up to the weekend, hopes are high that the grids for future races will have more strength in depth.

For Sunday's race the only true international GT1 car present, the Fabien Giroix Lotus Elise GT1 starting from the back of the grid was up to fourth place by The vale on the opening lap - One lap later though it was all over, the big yellow GT1 car was pulling off the circuit out of the race.

The Harrier had already gone by this stage tohgether with the Terry Pudwell Stealth and the ex Stingbrace F40 was soon to follow.

Thereafter it was a battle between the Krayem Racing Stealth B6 and the Peter Cook Porsche GT2. Cook's attack for a weekend double was ended by a lengthy pitlane penaly allowing the similar #32 car of Fairbairn and Maclean to grab second place, almost a full lap down on the Stealth.

Andy Holden and Darren dowling completed the podium in their well prepared TVR Tuscan Challenge car.
