Win Number Seven Jon Fogarty and Alex Gurney lead the Rolex points for the first time this season, after win number seven at Infineon Raceway on Saturday. Their rivals finished third and fourth. Fogarty / Gurney 385
Pruett 384
Angelelli 382 So it all comes down to the last race of the season, at Miller Motorsports Park. David Donohue looked on course for a first win of the season, until Tracy Krohn spun on lap 93, bringing out the only caution of the race. Alex Gurney took the lead on the re-start, and that was win number seven. "I was just trying to be on the ball and be quick, and be in the right gear at the right time,” said Gurney. “I knew he (Donohue) was struggling a little bit with tires; hats off to him and his entire team, as they did an excellent job. I don't think I would have gotten by him if it weren't for that yellow. It was an awesome day for us." Result
