Prospeed Choose Holzer And Goossens For 2011 LMS

ProSpeed Competition have confirmed that they will continue to compete in the Le Mans Series in 2011.

The team will field a 2011 spec Porsche 911 GT3 RSR with a new look driver squad, Porsche Factory man Marco Holzer joined for this season by Marc Goossens.

"We ended the 2010 Le Mans Series on a high with a second place in Silverstone and 2011 has to go in the same direction. Today we know that all the necessary elements of new success are there: a brand new and performing car, a very strong driver line-up, the intense collaboration with Porsche Motorsport, our partnership with CPL Trans-Alcra Flash and of course our own experience and knowledge. If all those elements come together in a proper way, we should be able to be successful.

ProSpeed Competition is heading towards the South of Europe in February for private testing sessions, followed by the official test days of the Le Mans Series in mid march.

We wait for news of 2010 Prospeed man, Richard Westbrook's 2011 plans after the rapid Englishman tested for Corvette racing recently and for confirmation of Prospeed's GT3 plans.  They are expected to defend their 2010 FIA GT3 title and look set too to contest the Blancpain Endurance Series.
