Collard And Tinseau Confirmed For Pescarolo

Pescarolo TEAM yesterday confirmed that their 2011 race programme will involve a single Pescarolo LMP1 powered by a Judd 5.5 litre V10.

The car will be entered in both the 2011 Le Mans Series and the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

The full season LMS driver squad is confirmed too - And its a high quality effort - Pescarolo returnees Emmanuel Collard and Christophe Tinseau both looking to revive their racing profiles in this most high profile of efforts.

Henri Pescarolo:

"We chose to seize the opportunity which was offered to us by the ACO to carry on with the V10 Judd for another year. the 2010 Pescarolo-Judd of course did not run in LMP1 form last year but we are sure it will be completely competitive in 2011. Our choice of driver squad shows our ambitions: to win the Le Mans Series championship and to gain a good finishing position at the 24 Hours of Le Mans."

Christophe Tinseau:

"This is a return that I hoped for and that I waited for quite impatiently! I also delighted to rejoin the team that I scored so much success with.

"To share the seat with Manu Collard is great news too."

Emmanuel Collard:

"I am delighted to be back in LMP1 and to work again with Henri's team who I've known for such a long time. To take part in the development of an LMP1 with Claude Galopin is always an interesting journey."
