Le Mans 24 Hours Test Day - Saturday Afternoon Notes

Firstly we believe there’s a likelihood that Stephane Sarrazin may not drive tomorrow after taking a tumble from his bike this afternoon – the Toyota factory driver was spotted walking to the medical centre with apparent facial injuries.  The damage isn’t thought to be serious though.

On the driver front, Jan Charouz is confirmed aboard the #25 ADR/ Delta Oreca 03 Nissan for the test tomorrow replacing Robbie Kerr whose name disappeared from the car this afternoon.

Charouz though, cornered by DSC whilst having a seat fitting, was unable to confirm yet whether he would race the #25 car.

The name of Jousse looks set not to feature on the Le Mans 24 Hours entry at all.

After yesterday’s legal unpleasantness between Julien Jousse and Henri Pescarolo, after Jousse took issue with the decision to replace him in the #16 Pescarolo 03 Judd with Stuart Hall, we now hear that his brother Maxime is no longer aboard the #28 Gulf Middle East Lola Nissan. It is understood that a sponsor failed to pay up – our friends at Endurance-Info believe that Ludovic Badeywill replace the luckless young Frenchman.

After the excitement of the "Drivers and Journos" kart race (of which more - much more - later!) the action on the track was fairly static, but attracted a lot of interest from the photographers.

Here's a selection of shots from the grid.
