Petit Le Mans – Thursday
Quick Morning Notes

Thursday morning at Road Atlanta sees blue skies and warm sunshine and the promise of more of the same for the rest of the meeting. But we need to begin with an apology after the lack of service on Wednesday. Unfortunately, the transatlantic and trans-American flights of the DSC PLM crew coincided with at-home anchor man Graham Goodwin being struck down by a serious bout of man-flu and subsequently being unable to post. Rest assured that normal service will be resumed forthwith.

We’ll be catching up from Tuesday and Wednesday over the course of today, but a quick look at the Wednesday test times sees improvements across the board in all classes over the corresponding 2007 – as if we expected anything less. As yet, though, there’s no sign of the low 1:06s apparently generated by the Peugeot at the weekend.

Today will see three practice session for the ALMS runners; at 10.30 (one hour), 15.05 (one hour) and 19.15 (105 minutes).
