TDS Racing For 2011 Le Mans Series
2011 Eurocup Mégane Trophy Champions TDS Racing will move into endurance racing (couped with a World Series by Renault programme) in 2011.
The team have been enticed into the LMS fray by the new cost capped LMP2 regulations and will field a new Oreca 03 powered by the stock block Nismo VK45 4.5 litre 90 degree V8.
TDS's The Oreca-Nissan will be equipped with Michelin tyres and an Xtrac gearbox with sponsorship from Thiriet Surgelés Gourmands.
As well as a full season LMS programme the newcomers have posted an entry request for the 2011 e Mans 24 Hours.
Two of the three drivers have already been signed - Pierre Thiriet (21 years old, vice-champion of Eurocup Mégane Trophy 2010), and Mathias Beche (24 years old, Formula Le Mans vice-champion in 2009). A third driver is still being sought.
