FIA GT Nogaro - Free Practice 2

Its been a cold start at Nogaro but the Larbre Competion Saleen did its best to add some heat to proceedings with a fine run in the second free practice session in its comeback appearance following the huge crash for the car in warm-up for the Spa 24 Hours.

It topped the timesheet with a time of 1:23.920 with the #6 Phoenix carsport Corvette of Deletraz and Fässler second with 1:24.061. Third fastest were the #33 Jetalliance Aston crew of Wendlinger and Sharp.

In GT2, CR Scuderia topped the session again, but this time it was Tim Mullen aboard the #55 Ferrari 430 who set the pace with a lap in 1:27.380 followed by Joël Camathias in the #78 BMS Scuderia Italia Ferrari F430 (1:27.461).

Jamie Davies was next up in the #62 Scuderia Ecosse Ferrari F430 (1:27.696).
 
There was bad news though for the #36 Jetalliance crew as Jiri Janak crashed out heavily at the start of the session. No news yet of the level of damage to the DBR9.
