FIA WEC, 6 Hours of Sao Paulo - Hour 4

Dalziel is now right on the tail of Brundle - a great tussle for the class lead underway Dalziel looks to drag by on the pit straight, looks have it done but is out-braked by Brundle who grabs the line for turn 2 - and around they go again.  This time Dalziel makes the same move but earlier - Brundle onto the dirty line and the Scot, despite another attempt to out-brake him is through.  Remember though that the #35 Oak doesn't score team points.

The lead gap is now a minute but the fastest car on the track just now is the third placed #2 Audi - regularly into the 1:24s and catching the #1 car quickly, the gap now under 30 seconds between the two.

A bad lap in traffic from Watts meanwhile sees Belicchi grab fifth overall from the Strakka HPD. Watts though is fighting back.

Mucke is closing in again on Bruni - the gap under 4 seconds again.

JRM report that A software/electronic glitch under the safety car left the throttle was stuck open and the car shut down. The car is now making its way back up the order, laps down.

Kristensen pops in the #2 cars fastest lap of the race to pull the gap to his second placed team mate under 20 seconds - the lead gap is now over 70 seconds.

The #61 AF Waltrip Ferrari had recovered to 4th in GTE Am but now a left rear puncture looks set to drop the all Brazilian crew back down the order - He spins to a halt inthe pit entry but gets it back.

Wurz pits from the lead after lap 138 is completed - 70 seconds to the good - Lapierre is back aboard - Fassler leads but only by 4.2 seconds - Kristenssen is just 16 seconds back from the Toyota and catching Lapierre at the moment.

Dalziel pits from the LMP2 leads after Kraihamer had taken over from Brundle, the newly installed Dominik has a minor off on his first flying lap - Olivier Pla is currently second in class but owes us a stop.

Fassler pits from second place (Lotterer climbs aboard) - Lapierre leads but Kristensen, albeit owing a stop in a few laps time, is closing on the leader, making up the deficit caused when the car was held at pit out under the Safety car.

The Aston Martin pits - Mucke passing driving duties back to Turner, #97 stays second in class.

Danny Watts is back ahead of the #13 Rebellion.

Bruni meanwhile has fended off the attack of Stefan Mucke and is stretching the gap in GTE Pro.

#2 pits after 147 laps - di Grassi will take the wheel now until the end of the race as Allan McNish tells Nick Damon on Radio Le Mans that he "doesn't think the victory will be going to Ingolstadt today!" di Grassi rejoins in third position.

With 4 pit stops completed for each of the three factory cars the gaps are:

#7 - #1 - 1:16 - #1 - #2 16.3

Tor Graves gets a stop-go for an infringement of the White line rule on pit entry in the #25 ADR Delta Oreca.

Darren Turner is flying just now as we expect the #51 Ferrari in next time around - With the stop completed, and Fisichella back aboard, the gap is now 14 seconds.

Di Grassi is going well in third slot - around 18 seconds back from Lotterer who is 80 seconds back from Lapierre.

2 hours to go and the gap to the #1 Audi from the Toyota, closing in to try to lap Lotterer is visual - Lotterer though seems to have other ideas.
