News snippets:

Mike Jankowski was a bit put out by our suggestion in the preview that the benchmark for AMR this weekend would be the Charouz time from 2008, given that the fastest non-petrol time at that test was by the Creation CA07 AIM. DSC's suggestion was that the car that the 2009 Lola Aston Martin is derived from would naturally be the benchmark, but Mike's point is perfectly valid and we're happy to revise the target time to 1:41.797.

Chris Dyson is a late addition to the weekend's activities, as he tries out the RLM Lola Mazda ahead of his Le Mans drive; but sadly Virgo Motorsport will be absent - not through any financial or technical reason, but because of a family illness for one of its drivers.
