Le Mans Test Day, Entry Notes - Part One LMP1 15 of the 17 confirmed LMP1 entries for the 2011 Le Mans 24 hours will be on track at the Test Day this Easter Sunday - Both the Highcroft HPD and Quifel ASM Zytek will be absent but both are expected to be present in June (and both may yet be present next month at Spa.) Of the race entries running all three factory Audi R18s have their full race crew listed, all three also have the nominated Audi Test Driver Marco Bonanomi listed too. There are no surprises due at Peugeot Sport, their trio of 908s all present and correct now the decision has been taken not to run the Hybridised version quite yet. Aston Martin Racing too will have their full factory driver squad on display and are due to run both of their AMR Ones together for the first time too. Oreca Team Matmut arrive here on the back of a famous Sebring victory for their 'old' 908 HDI FAP - Two of their trio of race drivers are listed (no Olivier Panis it seems). Amongst the Privateers Rebellion Racing and Oak Racing bring two car efforts. Rebellion reintroducing the Toyota name to the great race for the first time in over a decade and Oak bringing the famous Gulf Racing colours (one of three teams to do so in 2011) back to the sight of their greatest triumphs equipped with Pescarolo chassis, Judd engines and Dunlop tyres. Finally amongst the race entrants Hope racing will see the public debut on track of their main 2011 weapon, the Lehmann-Flybrid powered Oreca 01 - Paul Ricard FLM standout Nicolas Marroc and Lotus factory man James Rossiter are named alongside Steve Zacchia. Hoping for a drop out amongst the LMP race entrants are Kronos Racing, their Lola Aston Martin is still on the reserve list and has just Vanina Ickx named on the official test day entry though Maxime Martin and Bas Leinders are likely to join her at the test. Finally the Zytek Hybrid originally listed for Rangoni Motorsport and now entered by MIK Corse has lost its place on the reserve list due to the change of entry.
