British GT - Oulton Park - Monday Morning Notes

It's a grey and overcast Easter Monday morning with Oulton Park starting the day looking damp but with no rain falling and a light breeze the track should dry quickly.

Aside from the loss of a full set of Chad wheels and tyres from the paddock on Saturday it seems that the local light fingered ones also removed one of the Volkswagen Racing VIP vans!

David Ashburn was standing proudly by his new Porsche GT3 R but bemoaning the additional weight added to the car in the Balance of Performance "I already carry about 40 kilos more than any other driver even before that!" he said with a glint in his eye!

Phil Burton meanwhile was standing by as the Predator CCTV Racing Ferrari 430 Scuderia was being warmed up in the garage.  "This is my 430 GT3 with the full 'Scud' upgrade from Kessel, rumoured to cost a cool 120,000 Euros on top of the purchase price of a standard 430 GT3!

With the GT3 Racing Viper withdrawn and all the world's Moslers busy at SIlverstone yesterday the entry for today's double header of 60 minute races is down to 18 cars with all 18 out for the 10 minute warm-up session.
