Homestead
Entry 45 For Round 2
19 DPs and 26 GTs are being
readied and transported to Round 2 of the Rolex Series this weekend, at
Homestead-Miami Speedway on Saturday (March 29). That evening sees the first of
the new era Indy Car races, both events sponsored by Gainsco.
Significant cars that were
at Daytona, but not at Homestead, include the second Ganassi Riley, the
Penske-Taylor Riley, and the second entries from SAMAX and Cheever Racing.
However, two (four) new cars are set to race for the first time – the Krohn
Racing Lolas and the Doran Racing and SunTrust (Durante) Dallaras.
In the GT Class, the #55,
Level 5 Motorsports, tubeframe Ferrari, built by Max Crawford’s team, makes its
debut, while Mazda numbers are increased by one with the addition of the #32 PR1
entry.
Preview to come.
