ILMC/ LMS, Imola - Warm Up Notes

All 48 cars were out and running for the 20 minute Warm-up session - it could though have been 49. More of that story later!!

In bright sunshine the track looks magnificent, a classic circuit through Italian parkland - but on track it looks very, very busy indeed.

The only incident of note though was a quick pirouette into the gravel for Tracy Krohn after losing it over the kerbs at Rivazza, no major damage done though.

Fastest overall was Franck Montagny - a 1:33.847 in the #8 Peugeot good enough to see off some spirited Audi efforts – All four separated by less than a second.

Tinseau’s 1:37.1 was the best petrol effort, over 3 seconds behind the diesels though.

In LMP2 it was a Nissan 1,2, de Crem’s 1:39.040 in the #46 Boutsen Energy car pipping Jody Firth’s run in the TDS car.

Jorg Muller’s  1:45.208 in the #55 BMW led a quartet of cars in the 1:45s, BMW, AF Corse 458, BMW, AF Corse 458!

Genoa’s 1:46.025 was enough to see them at the top of the FLM times whilst Pat Long’s 1:46.451 in the #63 Felbermayer Proton Porsche was considerably quicker than the rest of the GTE Am pack.
