A word first for Peugeot who led for so long, and raced so hard - as tough a result for a factory team as we've seen in many a year.

Audi

The fourth Audi 1-2-3 (2000, 2002, 2004, 2010).

An astonishing nine wins in 11 years for Audi and the clean sweep makes it a total of 23 podium finishes since 1999, from a possible 36 (plus a further trio for Bentley with Audi engines).

Audi equal Ferrari's win total (and are therefore now second only to Porsche in terms of overall wins).

The first win for the R15 Plus - it joins the R8 and R10 TDI on the roll of honour.

All three winning drivers are first time overall winners but all have class wins to their names (Dumas 2001, Bernhard 2002 and Rockenfeller 2005).

It's the first time since 1998 that all three winning drivers have been first-time overall winners.
 
A third consecutive podium finish for the #7 crew.

Michelin

2010 is Michelin's 13th consecutive overall win - an amazing achievement.

Oreca  

Heartbreak for the Peugeot but they bring home the leading petrol fuelled finisher - 4th overall for the #6 Oreca 01 AIM and a fantastic rookie finish for Andy Meyrick.

LMP2

HPD have an excellent debut at Le Mans - taking the class win and a futher podium finish.

It's an excellent win for Strakka Racing on their class debut.

It's a third podium finish in the class for RML.

A third consecutive podium for Oak Racing (including their Saulnier Racing predecessor team).

It's a seventh podium finish in all classes for Andy Wallace.

A second consecutive class podium for Jonny Kane.

A second podium here for Mathieu Lahaye.

And a podium finish for the Pescarolo marque.

Michelin win the class but Dunlop complete the podium.

GT1

The Saleen wins in the last Le Mans 24 Hours for the class - ironically, the first win here for the S7R.

That win is Larbre Competition's fifth class win at Le Mans.

A class win on his Le Mans debut for Julien Canal.

A third GT class podium finish for Luc Alphand Aventures.

It's a second GT1 podium for Jerome Policand (plus one in LMP1), a third GT1 podium for Tomas Enge, and a fourth for Peter Kox.

A debut podium too for Christoffer Nygaard.

GT2

Porsche take the win with Felbermayr Proton, who add the Le Mans trophy to the cabinet that already holds the 2009 Le Mans Series Championship.

Marc Lieb and Richard Lietz take their second GT2 class wins - Wolf Henzler his first.

It's Porsche's first GT2 class win since 2007.

It's Hankook Farnbacher's second 24 hour race podium of the year with Allan Simonsen. Dominik Farnbacher, Leh Keen and their Ferrari 430GT.

It's a second GT2 podium finish apiece for Messrs Farnbacher and Simonsen.

It's a third consecutive podium finish in GT2 for BMS Scuderia Italia.

And it's a debut Le Mans GT2 podium for four LM24 rookies - Leh Keen, Richard Westbrook, Timo Scheider and Marco Holzer.
