Le Mans 24 Hours, Hour 5

The Ford GT is reported slow on course - It pits with a left rear puncture.

We hear from RML in-car radio that "something is off at Indianapolis and it might be a red" A few moments later we see the CRS Ferrari beached there and it becomes clear that he actually said - "something off at Indianapolis and it might be Ehret!."

The 430 is towed out and re-joins.

Young Olivier Lombard sets the fastest race lap so far for the Greaves Zytek - He's chasing Danny Watts for second in class.

19:23 - Holzer and Makowiecki are having a grand old fight for 4th in GTE Pro - The Ferrari currently holding sway.

Westbrook climbs aboard the leading Corvette, almost a minute to the good before the stop.

Judging by the timing screen the #007 Aston Martin AMR One is a retirement - 6 laps in total for the two cars - little short of a total disaster live test or no live test.  Here's hoping they come back fighting.

At the head of the pack after the last pit stop round we have Marcel Fassler 37 seconds clear of Antony Davidson.

Sarrazin is now through to third overall ahead of Pagenaud with Dumas in close attendance, this train 45-50 seconds off the leader.

Loic Duval meanwhile is over 2 minutes behind the fifth placed R18.

Dumas has a spin at Tetre Rouge as he goes by a GT car - no contact, perhaps clipping a kerb - Simple error or is the #1 car carrying a problem.

19:52  Joey Hand is trying to chase down Richard Westbrook, both BMW and Corvette men are setting a fantastic pace, the gap currently 41 seconds.

The #59 Luxury racing 458 had been up to second in GTE after a stunning Jaime Melo run the team though lose a chunk of time as Fred Mako climbs aboard and the car refuses to fire.

One plus for the remaining Aston Martin customer teams is that all of the AMR mechanical and technicians are now assisting their customer teams - Excellent stuff.
