Spins for the #77 Felbermayr Proton Porsche and #60 Gulf AMR Middle East Aston into the sixth hour.

Pagenaud pits and gets out to give Pedro Lamy his first run of the day in the #9 Peugeot 908.

20:09 Toni Vilander straight at the Mulsanne Corner and into the gravel. This will allow Antonio Garcia to move into third place in the GTE Pro category.

Vilander pulls away with the tow rope still attached to the car. Eventually the AF Corse Ferrari is 'on the loose'.

Garcia pits from third place, this promotes Jaap van Lagen in the ProSpeed Porsche to third for now. Vilander has dropped to sixth in GTE Pro.

Romain Dumas pits from third. Full service for the #1 Audi - fuel and tyres. Rockenfeller in for Dumas and back out again.

Duval brings the Oreca Peugeot onto pit road after setting the car's fastest sector time on sector 2. Fuel only.

20:19 pit stop for the GTE Pro class leader, the #74 Corvette comes in. Joey Hand in the #56 BMW takes the lead.

Romain Dumas clearly not happy with the gentlemen drivers: "Category GTE AM is terrible. All the gentleman drivers here for the first time is horrible. It is dangerous with them. It is a joke."

20:25 Russo passes Leventis and takes third place in LMP2 at the Ford Chicane. At the finish line the gap is already a full second!

Westbrook back in the lead in GTE Pro category after the #56 BMW pits. Third placed ProSpeed Porsche pits, giving the #56 some air to breathe.

20:29 Race leader Marcel Fassler in for the seventh pit stop for the Audi - Davidson has gone through to take the lead.

Fastest petrol powered car is the Rebellion Racing #12 - Neel Jani just improved its fastest lap of the race and now 34 seconds clear of the Pescarolo.

Antonio Garcia also on a flyer and rapidly closing the gap to Lucas Luhr in the #80 Flying Lizards Porsche.

Battle in GTE Am for third place with Julien Canal chasing Tracy Krohn, gap between the Ferrari and the Corvette just 3.5 seconds.

20:41 Garcia passes Luhr to take fifth in GTE Pro. Gap to fourth placed Porsche is rather big.

OAK Racing mechanics still working hard on the #15. Has only completed 42 laps and is last in the classification.

Gianmaria Bruni warned for abusing track limits - as his team mate Michael Waltrip runs wide at Indianapolis.

Close battle in GTE Am. Gap between first and sixth just over a minute.

Little moment for one of the Peugeots at the Ford Chicane, going straight, but fortunately not jumping the curbstones.

20:54 Davidson pits from the lead - which means the #2 Audi moves back into the lead of the race. Rockenfeller back into third - but pits and is passed again.

That's it for the sixth hour. Audi #2 over a minute clear of the #7 Peugeot and another minute over the #9 and #8 Peugeot, but this race is far from over.
