Hope Racing's Oreca Swiss Hy Tech-Hybrid trying to get out of the pit lane. After several unsuccessful attempts Lammers gets it back out.

RML's HPD ARX-01d is also in the box being worked on.

2:10 Bourdais fastest through sector 1.

2:12 Pit stop for the Audi R18 TDI of Treluyer. The Frenchman stays in the car as his team services it.

Bourdais finishes his fast lap - not the fastest lap for the #9 Peugeot and still half a second off the fastest race lap.

Jorg Muller:

“We had a puncture quite early on and then under the pace car we decided to change the brakes to save us having to do that for the rest of the race.  On the other car an electrical box had to be changed and other small stuff.  It is such a competitive field that if you have something small you will drop back quickly."

“It isn’t easy to drive as this car was not made for low downforce and we have to run very low to get the top speed here, so the car is constantly moving around and you are having to input all the time.  I can’t say I really like that but that’s how it goes if you want to win at Le Mans.”

Johnny Mowlem:

“I just did a four-hour stint, they had to pull me in even though I had about 7 laps of fuel at the end because I was in danger of going over the time limit.  It was pretty boring behind the safety car for ages, but it looked like a huge accident, the remains of the Audi looked like a fighter cockpit, but it was all intact with all the carbon fibre around the cockpit crushed.  We have had no real issues as yet, I am keeping about 10% in reserve, which you have to do at night anyway because from one lap to the next there is loads of dirt on a corner, then it is gone.  I’d forgotten how difficult this place is at night to be honest.  The tyres are doing really well, I reckon we could triple stint a set of mediums.”

BMW and Oreca Peugeot back on track. Olivier Beretta sidelined at the moment with carbon monoxide poisoning. He's not allowed to get extra oxygen by the ACO, so will take a few extra hours. Gavin meanwhile is freezing in his car due to inability to switch the airco off.

#60 Gulf Aston has rejoined

2:30 Treluyer still leads the race for Audi. Peugeot #9 is now up into second place with the #7 down in third place. Julien Jousse and the Pescarolo are now in fifth place.

#48 Oreca back in the pits for the third time in just 80 minutes.

2:36 Belicchi and Bleekemolen have also passed the Oreca Peugeot, which has now dropped to eighth overall. Watts in the Strakka Racing car is stuck out on track it seems, has dropped to seventh in LMP2 and no sector 1 time.

OAK Racing #15 is also retired from the race.

2:42 Oreca Peugeot back out again. Lost 15 minutes in that unscheduled stop.

Strakka Racing #42 retired, car stopped at the first chicane on the Mulsanne.

Lombard very fast, last lap was seven seconds quicker than Kraihamer and Bouchut. Greaves Motorsport doing well.

Hope Racing car back in the pit and pushed into the box.

2:51 In comes Olivier Lombard to hand over the Zytek Nissan to Karim Ojjeh. GTE Am top 4 still within one lap.

Treluyer pits from the lead - fuel, windscreen cleaning and off he goes again.

Danny Watts hit a curb at speed and damaged front aero. Returned to the pit, changed the front nose and was sent out again. Then stopped at the first chicane as he smelled oil. Telemetry says don't start the car, can't fix it. End of race for Strakka Racing.
