Dyson Withdraws From Le Mans
Status And Murphy Join The LMP2 Ranks

The ACO has released an updated entry list for the Le Mans 24 Hours in June, which shows that Dyson Racing has withdrawn both of its LMP1 Lola-Judds from the race after the team apparently hit problems in finding the necessary budget for the project (although the statement in the official ACO release that “the American team Dyson Racing has thrown in the towel,” seems unnecessarily derisive).

But Dyson’s misfortune means that the first two cars on the LMP reserve lists have now been accepted; these being the Status Grand Prix Lola-Judd and the Murphy Prototypes Oreca 03-Nissan (although it is listed as a Judd on the official entry list, curiously). This means that the LMP1 ranks drop to 13, while the LMP2 numbers swell to 20.

Just three cars now remain on the reserve list – the #32 LMP2 Lotus Lola B12/80, the #76 GTE-Pro IMSA Performance Matmut Porsche and the #63 GTE-Am Proton Competition Porsche.
